4 main functions of Smadav:
1) Additional protection for your computer, compatible with most other antivirus!
Many antiviruses cannot be installed with other antiviruses, this is because these antiviruses are designed for primary protection on your computer. Unlike Smadav which is designed as an additional protection, so it will most likely be compatible and run well even if there is another antivirus on your computer, in this case Smadav serves as a second layer of defense. Smadav has its own methods (behavior, heuristic, and whitelisting) in detecting and cleaning viruses that will further increase security on the computer. Due to Smadav's very small resource usage, Smadav does not add much to your computer's performance load in its use. So,
2) USB Flash Drive Protection
USB flash drives are one of the largest virus transmission media. Smadav has specialized technology for the prevention of viruses that spread via USB Flashdisk. Smadav has quite a few virus signatures that infect flash drives, and has a special ability to detect new viruses on flash drives even though they are not yet in the Smadav database. Not only prevention, Smadav is also able to clean the virus that infects and restore the files that the virus hides on the USB Flash drive.
